La Peral cheese is a semi-blue Asturias cow’s milk cheese made from pasteurised Friesian cow's milk to which sheep's cream is sometimes added to enhance the aroma and flavour of the cheese during maturing.
In the first days, La Peral cheese is semi blue and over time it transforms into a blue cheese with great personality, creaminess and a slightly sharp flavour.
To enjoy all the flavour intensity of the cheese, it is important to remove the required amount of product to be served from the refrigerator about thirty minutes beforehand to allow it to settle at room temperature for serving.
