Exquisite spanish cheese made using traditional artisan methods in Asturias, made with raw cow’s milk, and which has a crust with a toad-skin-like appearance. It is a small, cone-shape Asturias cheese with the characteristic cut of acid-curd cheeses.
To enjoy all the quality of the product, remove the cheese from the refrigerator about thirty minutes before serving. This will enhance all of its nuances.

PRODUCT PRESENTATION
The Rey Silo white cheese made from raw cow’s milk is vacuum packed in 240 g pieces, and carefully packaged in a cardboard container.
The cut of the cheese is clean and grainy, always depending on the maturity process, and has the clean aroma of cow’s milk. The more mature cheeses also have the aromatic notes of mushrooms and forest undergrowth. Rey Silo cheese made from raw cow’s milk has an intense, creamy and dry flavour, with a preponderance of dairy and floral notes and a distinctive aftertaste.
This cheese was awarded in 2011 as the best cheese in Asturias in the Foz de Morcín Cheese Award. It is considered one of the signature Asturias cheeses.
