Spain Abredo requesón cheese is an ideal fresh cheese for spreading made from pasteurised cow’s milk with a fat content of around 45%. Requesón cheese is obtained through a second treatment when making soft cheese.
Requesón cheese is highly versatile in the kitchen for making desserts as well as savoury dishes. For desserts, Spain Abredo requesón cheese is often served as a smoothie with milk and sugar and pieces of seasonal fruits. In many Asturias cider houses, requesón cheese is served with Asturias nuts and honey to satisfy a sweet tooth.

Abredo Asturias requesón cheese comes in portions of 500 grams in a plastic container sealed and refrigerated, a temperature at which it must be conserved from when it is made until it is served.
