This soft, sour curd cheese is made from pasteurised cow’s milk and is coated with a thin layer of exquisite herbs. It is an excellent-quality cheese that reveals the evolution of the Asturias cheese industry.
Made in Asturias, in the council of Grao. Grao is a town with a long cheese-making tradition that also forms part of the councils included in the Afuega’l Pitu cheese PDO.
Don Gonzalo cheese with herbs must be conserved in the refrigerator. It is recommended to remove the cheese from the refrigerator about fifteen minutes before serving to ensure that its temperature allows all of its quality to be enjoyed.

Don Gonzalo cow’s milk cheese with culinary herbs comes in 300 g pieces wrapped in paper for food use and packed in an original cardboard box. An ideal product for gifts.
Visually, Don Gonzalo cheese with herbs is clean cut, with no rind, a soft and grainy paste with a yellow/white colour. The fat content of this cheese is around 45%.
On the nose, Don Gonzalo cow’s milk cheese with herbs features the aromas released by the combination of spices, along with fresh nuances and acids characteristic of a soft cheese of short maturity, not exceeding 45 days.
Finally, on the palate this cow’s milk cheese is very fresh and of medium complexity due to the aromas of the combination of spices.
