Ordum beer is an Asturias traditionally made lager beer. Since lager beers are the type of beer most served in the world, the owners of this small craft brewery began their quest to produce Asturias beer with a lager. They also produce other more specialised beers, all of them traditionally made in Asturias.
The beer undergoes a short and cold fermentation process using a special yeast that reacts at low temperatures. Another characteristic that makes this product a special beer is that Borines water is used to make it.
Ordum now uses the advances in its processes to make beer without losing its traditionally-made character. The product is controlled at all the critical steps, which guarantees that the final result is a different craft beer with a pleasant flavour.
Served in the correct glass, this Asturias beer presents a crown of fine white and persistent foam with a bright golden colour and a certain transparency. The pilsner glass is recommended. On the mouth it is soft with slightly sweet nuances thanks to a good balance between the malt and the hops (Saaz variety), which give this beer the bitter nuances and the slightly dry and aromatic aftertaste.
Serve very cold.
