“Horno de Luanco” marañuela buns are packaged in bags of 12 units, with an approximate weight of 400 g.

Marañuela buns are a typical product of Luanco, in Northern Spain, which dates back more than 400 years. During Easter Week it was customary to give them to godchildren, and was also considered a good omen for a young lady to gift them to her admirer during courtship. Also, because of their long shelf life, families sent them as a gifts to distant relatives.
