El chorizo cular de Gochu de Monte asturiano es un embutido único procedente de animales nacidos y criados en libertad en un proyecto pionero en los montes del área central de Asturias. El chorizo cular de Gochu de Monte asturiano está elaborado con los mejores magros de estos animales nacidos y criados en una superficie de más de 50 hectáreas. Estos cerdos son cebados con castaña y escanda asturiana y forman parte de un proyecto de cría que busca preservar la dignidad de los animales y que trata de hacer crecer cerdos felices. El proyecto del Gochu de Monte Asturiano es una iniciativa pionera de La Casería de Crivencar que persigue poner en valor la carne de cerdo tan denostada en los últimos años. El Gochu de Monte asturiano es el fruto del cruce de hembras de cerdo asturcelta con macho Duroc, una técnica que permite mejorar los aprovechamientos cárnicos, así como una mayor infiltración; lo que da como resultado unos embutidos de altísima calidad. El chorizo de Gochu de Monte Asturiano se presenta en trozos de barra de 700 gramos de peso aproximado envasados al vacío.
