This honey comes mainly from flower nectar from Asturias chestnut trees.
It has a light amber colour, with floral aromas, a clear woody component and a sweet flavour. It is produced from the chestnut forests of the south-western area of Asturias, in northern Spain (Allande, Tineo, Ibias and Cangas del Narcea).
