The Asturias Gochu de Monte loin is obtained from these animals born and raised in freedom over more than 50 hectares. These pigs are fed on Asturias chestnuts and spelt and are part of a breeding project that seeks to preserve the dignity of animals by making sure they are happy pigs. The Asturias Gochu de Monte project is a pioneering initiative of La Casería de Crivencar that seeks to add value to pork meat, which has had a negative perception among consumers in recent years.
