Porrúa is a spanish mild-intensity cow’s milk cheese’s made from pasteurised cow’s milk in different villages around Porrúa in Asturias on its boundary with the northern foothills of the Sierra del Cuera mountain range.

Porrúa cheese is another Spanish cow’s milk cheese that can be considered a “fridge staple”. It is made from pasteurised cow’s milk, lactic ferments, rennet and salt.
With 21 days of ripening, it is a soft, fresh cheese, ideal for the whole family. It is very versatile in the kitchen, where it can be used as an ingredient in cheese platters, salads, pastas, etc.
As with other cheeses from our store, it is recommended to remove the product from the refrigerator about thirty minutes before serving, in order to enjoy its full flavour.
Store in the refrigerator.
