Rib-eye steak is a very tender and juicy cut of beef and is highly valued. It is obtained from the lower loin and is very flavoursome cooked to rare.
It is often accompanied by intense cheese sauces to enhance its flavour (such as Cabrales, Afuega'l Pitu or La Peral cheeses), or five-pepper or Pedro Ximenez sauce. Enhances the flavours with a touch of coarse salt after cooking on the grill or barbeque.
It can also be accompanied with a side of fried, mashed or roast potato or with a fresh lettuce, tomato and onion salad.
Store in the refrigerator. It is recommended to open the container at least one hour before cooking.
